my design style
I believe understanding a person's background is essential in capturing who they are as an individual. I put that same theory into my work. My perception of design and creativity comes from my daily experiences and the people I meet and surround myself with. Not a single creation of mine was brought to life by mere requirement or obligation. They were born and cultivated from a distinct purpose of passion, curiosity, and the underlying understanding that we can and need to do better as a society. I desire to make people experience life and reflect on their own through my work. I aspire to see myself in a fresh, new light for each project I create and I strive for others to do the same.
my personal style
I am a 30 year old girl from Houston, TX. I collect vintage autobiographies and handwritten letters. I steal all of my jokes from John Mulaney, and I can quote every line from How I Met Your Mother (even though some might see that as a bad quality). My taste in beverages is equivalent to that of a 60 year old Irishman and you should never leave me alone around a candy jar. I love anything antique - I appreciate things that have a story. I believe you can never have too many plants or favorite songs. I’m a big fan of unofficial holidays, like National Disco Day, and celebrating everything and everyone around me - especially for the little things. One day i’ll live on my own farm in Upstate New York surrounded by my cows, my chickens and my garden. Until then, I spend my time people-watching, touring local breweries, going on road trips with my friends and family, screaming 90s rock at the top of my lungs and wishing Kurt Cobain was still alive.
